Run4Orphans is a charity ministry of Church of God in Oakland that supports charity work of Light and Love Home, which mission is to help the poor, care for orphans, with particular focus on education and establishing long-term and effective services. We started to raise fund via endurance running for charity in 2009. We have raised about $4,000 in 2009, $18,250 in 2010.
2012 Campaign – Thousand Miles for the Poor
The goal of this campaign is for the team of runners to run a total of 1000 miles of races in 2012 and to raise $30,000. Eighty percent of the fund raised will be donated to the Light and Love Home Worldwide Charity Service to help needy children in third world country. Twenty percent of the raised fund will be used to help local community in Oakland, CA, where the Church of God in Oakland locates. Help us to care, serve, give, and “run” for the children and the poor. Your support is appreciated.
